Could the need for peace and cooperation, the affiliative links be the true basis for a social organization? Given freedom, horses live together in groups being an example of such society.

Love in all its varied forms - between parents, sons and daughters, playmates, friends or sexual partners - isn't a human prerogative. Horses do it too. In fact, their lives depend on it. Observing the intimacies of wild horses' lives makes us think about the parallels with our own affections. Do horses seek affection to soothe and comfort their insecurities? Are they faithful? How do their bonds nurture individual growth and development to create a harmonious society in which no one imposes on others, but the path of self-realisation is open to all? Is it affection and not aggression that shapes the lives of wild horses?
